Hattie’s Fatties was born from love, resilience, and a grandmother’s unwavering devotion. After losing her daughter in a tragic car accident in 2018, Hattie stepped in to help care for and support her two young grandchildren, Riley, just 10-months old, and Hayden, only 2. Because their mother had been a full-time college student who never had the chance to earn work credits, the children received no benefits. Determined to support their father and create stability for the kids, Hattie turned to a passion and gift she had always carried with her: baking.
What began as a source of comfort quickly grew into something extraordinary. Her grandchildren would lovingly tell her, “Hattie, you make the fattest cookies!” and from that sweet, joy-filled moment, Hattie’s Fatties came to life.
Today, the home bakery specializes in giant gourmet cookies inspired by nostalgic treats and classic comfort desserts, the flavors that remind you of childhood kitchens, family gatherings, and the desserts that made life feel a little sweeter. Each cookie is crafted to deliver warmth, indulgence, and a touch of home in every bite. We bake small batch cookies with clean, simple ingredients like you would find in your pantry, no preservatives, no shortcuts, just ingredients you can trust!
