Goose Pond Farm Bakery

Hello, my name is Amy. Professionally, I am a nurse practitioner, I love my career choice and taking care of my patients but I also have a passion for cooking and baking. My husband and I are planning to move in the future to our farm. Our plan is to begin a more simple life of homesteading. I have always been a foodie and I love to learn more and more about the art and science of cooking. I also have a great interest in knowing where my food comes from and how it’s prepared, therefore, I am so excited about growing and raising our own food in the near future.

I have 4 children, 2 bonus children, and 3 grandchildren. My husband, kids, and grands are the most important people to me and I’m looking forward to having more time at home with them. On a side note, I’ve been encouraged for years by my family, friends, and coworkers to open a restaurant or bakery, but I’ve never taken the plunge into selling any of my goodies until now. I am a little anxious but more so super excited about this journey.
