Allergy & Dietary Warning:
- Good Vibes Bakery is a cottage bakery, and we make every attempt to accommodate dietary preferences. Though best practices are used in the manufacturing of our baked goods, inadvertent cross-contamination may occur. We strive to make treats for all to enjoy; however, customers should exercise judgement in consuming our products, especially if it is a life-threatening condition or if your allergy is severe. Good Vibes Bakery is not liable for allergic reactions that may occur.
- Common kitchen allergens that your order may come into contact with may include but are not limited to: eggs, nuts, soy, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, fish/shellfish etc. The client is responsible for pointing out potential allergy hazards, and Good Vibes Bakery will communicate ability to accommodate restrictions.
Booking Policies and Deposits
Booking Policies and Deposits:
- All Sales are Final. Prices are not negotiable.
- Good Vibes Bakery requires payment in full at the time of booking in order to finalize all orders. Any communication about your proposed order including quotes are only an inquiry until payment is rendered. Our schedule fills up quickly. We highly recommend getting your order placed with payment as early as possible. An order is not confirmed until payment is received.
- By making payment, you agree to All terms and conditions of Good Vibes Bakery.
- All payments are refundable for 24 hours after booking. Anything beyond 24 hours is Non-Refundable.
- All custom orders must be received a minimum of 14 days in advance to the pickup date selected.
- Orders for larger events such as weddings, must be received a minimum of 4 months in advance to the pickup/delivery date depending on the types of desserts requested.
- Documents including invoices, policies, terms and conditions and transportation instructions will be sent to the client after ordering. For custom and event orders, a contract will be sent to the client and a signature will be required to finalize the order.
Balances Due
Balances Due:
- Although our policy is that orders are paid in full at the time of booking, special circumstances may arise in which a balance is due after the initial payment. Any additional balance will be discussed with the customer and approved prior to being added. This payment can be made at the time of approval or if Good Vibes Bakery agrees, the remaining balance can be paid at the time of pick up. No order will be allowed to leave without payment in full for the original balance and any additional balances added after the initial price.
- Orders for larger events such as weddings will require 50% of the payment due upon booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the day of pickup/delivery unless the customer prefers to pay in full at the time of booking.
- If the client fails to make payment(s), Good Vibes Bakery will cease work, the order will be canceled, and no refunds will be given.
Changes to Order
Changes to Order:
- Supplies, depending on the order, are purchased in advance. Any changes must be submitted within at least 14 days of placing the order. Any changes made afterwards may be incorporated at the discretion of Good Vibes Bakery.
- For event orders including wedding`s, changes must be submitted within at least 14 days of placing the order. Any changes made afterwards may be incorporated at the discretion of Good Vibes Bakery.
Cancellations
Cancellations:
- Any cancellations are required 14 days prior to pick up or delivery date including all custom, event and wedding orders. We are unable to make changes to orders after that time frame. If your order is not cancelled 14 days prior to your pick up or delivery date, no refunds will be provided for any payments made on the order no matter the amount. You will still be required to pay the full amount of your order if the order is cancelled with less notice.
Returns and Refunds

- Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a return or exchange on our products. All baked good sales are final, and therefore do not accept any refunds, exchanges or store credit for any orders/products.
- Any refunds requested after the product has been accepted once picked up or delivered will not be honored.
- Refunds requested due to taste/flavor, texture, decorating style, color shade or general decoration design will not be honored.
Delivery and Pick Up
Delivery and Pick Up:
- Once an order has been picked up by you or a designated party, it is considered "Accepted." All products are the responsibility of the customer once they are picked up or delivered. Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for any damage done to the product after it has been delivered, set up or picked up by the customer. The client assumes full responsibility of their order. Refunds requested due to but not limited to taste/flavor, texture, decorating style, color shade, writing or general decoration design will not be honored.
- Transportation and serving instructions will be provided prior to pick up or delivery where applicable. Products should never be placed on seats! It is best to place your order on the floorboard of the vehicle so that it is level and to prevent any possible damage.
- We encourage the person picking up an order to follow its baked goods transportation instructions. Failure to follow these instructions can lead to the baked goods being damaged or losing freshness. Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for damage to the purchased items nor loss of freshness once an order is picked up or delivered.
- Baked goods are made for and considered fresh for the date of the pick up or delivery. All food is considered out of date, past safe consumption date, or after the expiration date on the date after delivery or pick up. Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for any injury or sickness caused by our products once they are out of date. It is up to the customer to maintain freshness and to consume at their own risk.
- Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for damage to the product(s) once delivered or picked up. Should the customer or a third party move, make modifications to or adjust the product(s) in any capacity, Good Vibes Bakery is held harmless to any mishandling of the product(s). You agree to follow any instructions given to you by Good Vibes Bakery regarding handling of food, including but not limited to; placement, display, refrigeration, modification, transportation, and consumption.
- Orders for pick -up receive a specific pick-up time that was agreed upon with the customer. This time is meant to ensure your order is ready for pick-up and it is fresh the day of pick-up. By placing a pick-up order, you agree to pick up the order within the given pick-up time agreed upon. Failure to pick up the order within the time can result in the order being marked as unclaimed and may be donated or moved to resale.
- If you do not pick up your order, you will be considered a "no show" and Good Vibes Bakery will not issue any refunds regardless of the amount and you will still be required to pay any remaining balances. If you need your order at a later date, you will be required to pay for both orders. We cannot resell any products that are not picked up by the customer.
- Requests for modifications to your pick up or delivery time will not be accepted. Due to the freshness or products and the time given to making each product for your order, we cannot make changes to your date and time selected for pick up or delivery. Once you place your order, you are committing to the agreed pick up or delivery time and date as specified in your receipt and at the time of booking. You will still be responsible for paying the full amount of your order or any remaining balances on your order. No refunds will be issued. If you need your order at a later date, you will be required to pay for both orders. In most cases, some products require a completely new order to be placed due to the freshness of the type of product. Please adhere to your scheduled pick up date and time.
- Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for delayed pick up (or delivery due to inability to pick up) that results in a lack of order freshness and aesthetics.
- Any person is eligible to pick up an order with an order receipt, copy of a paid invoice, copy of a pain online order, or a similar receipt. An order will not be handed to a person who does not have a receipt or order details to reference. We encourage customers to send communication should the person picking up an order be someone other than the buyer.
- If we feel our or the customers safety is at risk due to weather, unsafe road conditions or foreseen or unforeseen circumstances, Good Vibes Bakery will notify the customer immediately to make other arrangements such as choosing a different pick up or delivery time and date.
- Good Vibes Bakery offers only two free pick-up locations including the Royal Farms at 404/309 and the Cordova Fire House in Maryland. If we arrange to meet at a different spot or one that is closer to you, there will be an additional fee starting at $15 (only applicable for custom and event orders). Pick up and delivery locations are up to the discretion of Good Vibes Bakery. There are additional fees for pick-up for any location that is beyond the 5-mile radius of Cordova, MD. Pickup and delivery fees are subject to change.
- Good Vibes Bakery only makes deliveries to businesses and wedding venues; however, it is up to the discretion of Good Vibes Bakery (depending on location). There are additional fees for delivery to any location that is beyond the 5-mile radius of Cordova, MD. Delivery fees are subject to change. Delivery date and time will be agreed upon between the client and Good Vibes Bakery.
- The customer is responsible in full for known risks that Good Vibes Bakery may face during delivery. It is your responsibility to notify us no later than one day prior to delivery regarding the risk. Good Vibes Bakery has the right to cancel deliveries and require the customer to pick up their order or make other arrangements.
- Delivery location and point of contact must be provided before the delivery date. It is the customer’s responsibility to notify Good Vibes Bakery where the order should be placed. If food is moved from this location after delivery, it is assumed to be your responsibility. Once we deliver your order, Good Vibes Bakery is no longer responsible for your order and any damage done to your products is the full responsibility of the customer.
- Good Vibes Bakery may not fully complete a delivery or will refuse and return the order to the bakery should the risk be discovered, and we feel the delivery is unsafe. In such an instance, Good Vibes Bakery is responsible for attempting to notify you or someone present, and the customer is responsible for receiving their order at another time or location. Should we proceed with delivery, the customer is responsible for securing and/or removing the risk before or during delivery arrival. The customer is fully responsible for all damages including failure to bring attention of a risk or failure to secure or remove the risk that leads to the direct physical injury or illness of us. Should damage to your order occur in part or in full from the risk, that the bakery is held harmless. Examples of reasonable risks include but aren`t limited to: aggressive or overly excited animals, operative machinery whether on or off, visually hidden or unclear objects, water or other hazardous spills, etc.
Wrong Pick Up Date
Wrong Pick Up Date:
- Refunds requested due to ordering for the wrong day when the order is already made will not be honored. Make sure you double check the date you ordered. Please email us at least 24 hours after booking if you made a mistake before we make your order to change the date or cancel. If we are not notified within 24 hours, your order will be processed and your pick up or delivery date with continue to be the date you selected upon booking. You must receive a confirmation email from us for any changes to be accepted.
Shipping

- In accordance with Maryland's laws, Good Vibes Bakery is only allowed to ship products to customers in Maryland. We are not allowed to sell or ship products to anyone outside of Maryland.
- Good Vibes Bakery is shipping baked goods that have no preservatives. Therefore, we cannot guarantee our products condition or freshness upon arrival.
- Once our product has left our hands
and is in the possession of the mailing service, it is no longer our responsibility.
- Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for staleness/spoilage due to courier shipping delays, or if the recipient is not at the delivery location to receive the shipment. We do not give refunds for any damaged or spoiled products once delivered/received.
- Good Vibes Bakery has zero control over the amount of time it takes for your order to arrive. The package arrival date is not guaranteed and there will be no refunds given for late arrivals.
Online Ordering

- By placing an order or purchasing a product, you are confirming the accuracy of the said transaction as shown in the product lines, online/offline descriptions, visually in display or packaging, as explained, or other viable references. Good Vibes Bakery is no longer responsible for the product once an order is in your possession, or possession of a party representing you or with you.

Considered subjective means a choice made and/or opinion of is based on the individual customer. Good Vibes Bakery cannot be held responsible nor required to refund or act upon a decision that is considered subjective. Recommendations made by Good Vibes Bakery are based on general experience. It is up to the customer to decide what is best for their situation. Examples include but are not limited to: flavor choice(s), design choice, image file choice, messages, delivery instructions, storing our products, etc.

- While Good Vibes Bakery makes every effort to provide exactly the flavors, fillings, decorations, sizes, shapes and colors you have requested, the creation of our products is an art and may be subject to slight variations and/or errors by the creator. We will not guarantee to match colors or duplicate an item exactly. We hold final say in decisions regarding the creation of our products.
- Colors may vary. Good Vibes Bakery will do their best to match colors as close as possible, but colors can vary based on many variables outside of our control. Placing an order with Good Vibes Bakery means that you agree that the colors may vary from inspiration photos and invitations.
Photo Release
Photo Release:
- Good Vibes Bakery reserves the right to use all photographs, video and other content of the custom order for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation to you. All pictures that we are tagged in or posted to our social media accounts are subject to the same terms.
Customer Provided Decorations
Customer Provided Decorations:
- If the client chooses to have a decoration not sold by Good Vibes Bakery placed on your ordered item, it is your responsibility to provide to us. We will not place any food items obtained outside of Good Vibes Bakery on any order. It is illegal for us to place any form of alcohol on a product. Any non-food products must be cleaned and properly sanitized before we receive them. We will place items on the order as is. All customer provided decorations must be received no less than 14 days in advance to allow for planning the execution of design.
- If you wish to have fresh flowers arranged on your product, it is your responsibility to supply the flowers (whether they are self-sourced or ordered through a florist). In choosing to have fresh flowers arranged on your product, you acknowledge that fresh flowers are not food products, and may be toxic or contain pesticide/herbicide residues, dirt, insects, and/or other contaminants. If we have been informed prior to the event date that fresh flowers will be supplied for your product, we will gladly arrange these flowers on your order for you. However, all responsibility for the freshness, color, overall condition, and cleanliness of the flower’s rests with you (and/or the florist).
- In some circumstances, inedible items are placed on a product for decoration purposes only and are not to be consumed. Good Vibes Bakery will notify you of any items that are inedible. Good Vibes bakery is not responsible for any illness or bodily injuries that may occur due to failure to remove any non-food products including but not limited to decorations, flowers or necessary supports.
Event Venues, Event Planners, and Event Service Providers
Event Venues, Event Planners, and Event Service Providers:
- An event venue, event planner, or event service provider or any other event or non-event related entity will be referenced as "service provider." Good Vibes Bakery will be held harmless should there be any mishaps with the dessert services ordered/provided wherein the mishap is out of the control of the bakery post-delivery including any damage to the product(s), bodily injury or complete destruction of the product(s).
- Should any service provider require the bakery to provide a commission in exchange for providing bakery services and/or products, the bakery is no longer responsible for the service and/or products provided. Any refunds, assistance, or other forms of reimbursement due to any perspectives, issues, challenges, feelings, etc. are the sole responsibility of the service provider who will receive or has already received the commission.
- The service provider may not know of the terms listed above prior to any bakery product or service being purchased and that is the customers responsibility to notify the service provider before agreeing to purchasing any product or service from Good Vibes Bakery. Should the service provider not agree to these terms, we may cancel the order without reimbursement. Should we agree to accept the rejection, Good Vibes Bakery will not be held responsible for any mishaps with the services or products provided and will not provide any reimbursement/refunds for any reason.
- Good Vibes Bakery does not provide services for setting up or displaying purchased items for any events including weddings at this time. Items for all orders including event and wedding orders will be placed in bakery boxes. Placement and display of purchased items are up to the customer. Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for any damage to the product(s), bodily injury or complete destruction of the product(s) during placement/display (the customers responsibility) and post pick up or delivery.

- Good Vibes Bakery will endeavor to perform its services in a professional manner and provide the best customer experience possible. However, due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds or exchange your order/product for another one. All of our products and services are non-refundable.
- Good Vibes Bakery does not give any refunds or store credit for our products or services even if the client is dissatisfied with their order. We take pride in our work and strive to provide products and services that meet our high standards.
- Refunds requested due to flavor or texture of our products after the order has been accepted and either picked up or delivered will not be honored.
Limited Liability
Limited Liability:
- All products are the responsibility of the customer once they are picked up or delivered. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up, or any time thereafter. Keep in mind that some products are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly, such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. We are not liable for any special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
- Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for any damage the product may suffer due to the environmental conditions in which the product is stored or displayed (location, temperature, weather, etc.).
- Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for bodily injury, property or consequential damage, which may result from products/services provided. We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur due to failure to remove any non-food products including but not limited to decorations, flowers or necessary supports.
- Good Vibes Bakery is not responsible for any damage to the products/services provided caused by anyone not employed by Good Vibes Bakery.
- In the case of an unavoidable situation, such as a car accident or poor road conditions during delivery, Good Vibes Bakery cannot be held liable for more than the cost of the ordered products.
Obligations

- We take our obligation to provide your order very seriously. However, should an unforeseeable event occur that prevents us from fulfilling our obligation and forces us to cancel our agreement with you, we will refund your payment in full.
Right to Refuse Service

- If any customer becomes disrespectful, irate, disruptive, or violent, Good Vibes Bakery reserves the right to refuse service. Cursing and yelling is not tolerated in person or by phone. If any of the aforementioned occurs, Good Vibes Bakery revokes the right to be of service to said customer and anyone in their party.
