I have had a fondness for baking since I was a little girl! Friends and family began asking to order cake pops from me, then cookies, and thus Gingernaps was created. After a couple of years in business I decided to stop selling cake pops and now only sell decorated cookies.
How long will my cookies stay fresh? How should I store them until my event?
Cookies will stay fresh for several days. If they have been picked up in a bakery box, simply keep them on the counter, closed up in their box, until they are ready to be served. Do not put them in any sort of airtight container as the moisture from the cookie will soften (and ruin!) the icing.
Cookies that are individually packaged or heat sealed will stay fresh for a week or more.
Have extras you’d like to save for a later date? They are great in the freezer!
