We’re proud to announce our very first Cookies for a Cause partnership:
CHOW of Broome County.
What is CHOW exactly?
CHOW is an independent, local, grassroots food recovery/distribution organization that feeds the food insecure of Broome County free of charge.
The CHOW Program (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse) was created in 1976 as a response to the lack of a coordinated and systematic effort to provide food for those in need in the Broome County area. Starting with a network of 14 food pantries housed in congregations throughout Broome County, CHOW has developed into a multi-faceted hunger relief program. CHOW currently supports 120+ emergency food programs (meal sites, residential programs and pantries) with a unique model: We have always provided food free of any cost.
