Gina reached out via text on Saturday Feb 21 2026. She clarified that there were personal issues that got in the way of her commitment. Agreed to return my deposit of $13.62. Sent a Venmo request on Saturday Feb 21 2026. Not fulfilled. Sent a reminder via Venmo and texted her on Sunday Feb 22 2026 to see if she would follow through. No response. Sent a reminder Monday Feb 23 2026 2026 via Venmo app as well as through text. She did then subsequently reply back on text as well as fulfill the Venmo refund. I promised I would provide an updated review. I did not fulfill that. She sent me a reminder email this morning Thursday March 12 2026. So this is the updated response for you all to understand. Not a 5 star review just given the back and forth as you can see above. Did appreciate her honest effort to connect back and correct the wrong even though it was a small monetary amount. I think she's trying and I would amend my prior review to categorically avoid. Clearly she is talented. I wish her and her business well.

I reached out December 8, 2025 for a birthday cake. Communicated via the website, subsequently through text and over the phone conversation with Gina to specify details such as my coworkers name/colors scheme etc. Agreed to send a deposit via Venmo for the birthday cake and sent it to Gina Arrostuto on Venmo on December 8th, 2025. We agreed on a December 28, 2025 3pm drop off. Texted Gina's cell contact information on December 26 205 to coordinate the December 28 2025 drop off. No response via text. Reached out through phone. Phone calls not answered. December 28 2025 came and went. No communication. I had to make other arrangements for the birthday cake. Sent 2 request on Venmo for return of the deposit. No deposit request fulfilled. Notified bakesy who could not honor my refund but who provided me this link to write a review. Bakesy also communicated that they will flag the vendor. I will be notifying Gina through text as well that this post will be released. Happy to provide an update should Gina agree to return the deposit. The deposit amount is only $13.62 but regardless worth informing consumers. Avoid.

The cake was of course perfect. Very communicative and went above and beyond to deliver. Feels like I got my moneys worth and then some, THANK YOU!!

Our family was originally introduced to Gina while she was baking with Hummingbird Bakery. We ordered cakes and cupcakes for well over a decade and were so sad to see their recent closure BUT! luckily realized that Gina was still baking. We recently reached out to her to inquire about ordering cupcakes for our daughter’s graduation and so happy we did. We ordered five flavors: hummingbird, lemon-blueberry, strawberry lemonade, red-velvet and vanilla. Cupcakes were absolutely delicious and as always she was a pleasure to work with, making the process as smooth as possible. Thank you again, Gina. We will definitely be reaching out for our next event.
