Custom cakes are designed by me after talking to you about your visions for your cake. This can include fondant toppers, flowers, and accessories all custom made by me. Custom orders require more detailed attention than a regular celebration cake. Tiered cakes and wedding cakes are automatically considered custom.

All of my cakes are priced individually. I will work with you to find out your budget and guest count. I price according to the size, flavor, and design work. Labor hours are factored into my custom cakes as well.

Custom cake work takes TIME. I ask for a minimum of 7 days, however that also depends on if I am booked for your date. 7 days notice means your order has been priced, placed, and the deposit has been received 7 days before your order is needed. I often can, and do accommodate last minute requests but cannot guarantee it especially from April-Sept.

Short answer? I’ve been stood up too many times with a big order and no payment. There are a ton of factors that go into your order. It takes days to weeks to prepare your custom cake. It also means turning down other orders to ensure your order is up to my highest standard. Deposits let me know you’re serious and allow me to get started. Deposits are non-refundable. Orders are not booked until the deposit is paid. Once your deposit is received you are officially on my calendar!

YES! I offer naturally dyed frosting! Huge fan! While the colors may not be as vibrant we can make something beautiful!

1. Keep cake level at all times! The cake is safer in the floorboard of your vehicle, NOT in a seat at an angle. I don’t recommend someone hold the cake. 2. Carry and pickup the cake from the bottom only! Do not use the sides of the box to carry it. 3. Do not leave the cake in the car for longer than it takes for you to get home. The heat affects the frosting and it may begin to break down if left in the car for long periods. If you need to travel with it after you take it home I recommend you keep it refrigerated so it will be nice and firm for transport. 4. Keep the cake away from direct sunlight and heat. 5. Store the cake in the fridge, pull it out and let it sit at room temp 1 hour before serving. 6. Leftover cake can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge or wrapped and frozen for up to 3 months.

1. All orders require a deposit of at least 50%, sometimes more depending on the order (ex. Wedding cakes). IMPORTANT: the order is not booked until the deposit is paid! Once I receive the deposit I will send you a confirmation letting you know the order is booked with me. 2. Deposits and balances paid on Venmo or PayPal need to be paid using the friends or family option. Otherwise it charges me a fee which I will then have to add on to your invoice as it comes directly out of my overhead. 3. The balance on your order is due no later than THREE days before pickup or delivery. Custom cakes take several days and when you pay on time that lets me know to proceed with your order. If payment has not been made in that period, order is subject to cancellation. 4. Custom cakes are, well…custom. Meaning you can send me an inspiration picture and I will do my best to recreate the picture or get as close as I can, but every cake is a piece of art. Just like an artist can’t recreate an exact replica of their work I can’t create an exact replica of someone else’s work. But again, I will do my very best to recreate something as close as I can and that you will love! 5. I don’t do cakes with profanity or private parts. All of those requests will be denied. 6. Once the order is picked up or delivered you are responsible for any damages that may occur.
