Liz is the easiest to work with and makes some magical cookie ART. I get custom sugar cookies made as wrap gifts for my coworkers on all the shows I work on and they are always a huge hit. She really takes the time to make and package them nicely, and quickly! I’ll always recommend her!! :)

The desserts for my mother-in-law’s birthday party were absolutely AMAZING! Not only were they beautiful and elegant, but they tasted just as incredible as they looked. Every detail was done perfectly, and you can truly tell how much care and talent went into making them. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was! I found Diva Rivas Dessert on Yelp. Made a quick call to Liz and from there she sent me a form to fill out. Super easy! I just provided her some inspo photos and she DELIVERED. The cake was everything. I couldn’t stop looking at it and all my friends loved it too. Everyone kept talking about how beautiful the cake was. Pick up process was easy too! I’ll recommend Diva Rivas Dessert to all my friends and I’ll be booking with her again for future events for sure!

She did it again! For the 3rd year in a row I’ve gotten sugar cookies, cupcakes and a little cake from Diva Rivas and she impresses every time. This year the Batman (Gotham City) cake was amazing and the sugar cookies were adorable. My nephew will be thrilled.

The cookies came out better than expected - both in the taste and decor. So much so, all my guests commented on how great the cookies were and surprised with every detail. I reached out to Liz a couple of weeks prior to my event, and she was so helpful and accommodating to my request. Will definitely recommend and will be coming back for future events.

I ordered a dozen of custom sugar cookies and 4 dozen party package (cupcakes, chocolate covered Oreos, cake pops, and chocolate covered pretzels) for a baby shower. The theme was farmers market inspired. First and foremost ordering was very easy and Liz was very good at communication. She was able to get back to me at a reasonable time frame and providing payment was easy. I sent her a couple of photos for how I wanted the design and she did not disappoint. Pick up was very easy and the goodies were packaged well for transport and storing. The cookies and desserts were so adorable and very on theme! She did such a great job and putting my vision to life. We got so much compliments for the desserts during the party. Not only were they adorable, but they were also very delicious! The flavors were very well balanced and not overly sweet. I would definitely reorder for my next future parties. Highly recommend!

Shout out to divarivas (Liz). This is our second time ordering desserts from her. I love her professionalism and especially love her pastries. They are always a hit !! When I first ordered from her, she was the only person that responded to my message.. ( keep in mind that I messaged a few accounts.) She came recommended by someone I know and so were the others but she was the only one who responded. If you need desserts for a party reached out her, you won’t regret it !!

The class I attended was a comprehensive overview how to make the cookie dough, royal icing and decorating techniques. Liz has great hands on experiences that help each person learn the nuances of the icing and decorating techniques which are difficult to gain from a printed receipe alone. Liz toggled between Spanish and English keeping everyone included in the conversations and the teaching. She did all of this and made it fun. It makes me want to have a Liz instructed cookie decorating party. Those who are looking to start a cookie business could pursue after this class. It was the best part of my weekend.
