❤️delicious. Just a reminder of home 🇿🇦

The eggless snowballs were such a hit at home. Actually all (samoosas, puri patha, eggless biscuits) of it was so good. I have to do another order soon.

Simply delicious food and highly recommended!

We recently had Devine Bakes cater for a special work event, a baby shower for a dear colleague, and Devani absolutely did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The samoosas were a real hit, with such tasty fillings and perfectly crispy pastry. The cupcakes were moist, decadent and delicious, and the cookies were buttery and simply irresistible! The delivery was right on time, and everything arrived beautifully presented and ready for our celebration. You can really see the care and love that goes into Devani’s baking. Thank you, Devine Bakes, for helping make our baby shower extra special. We would happily recommend you and will definitely be ordering again! 🧁

Exceptionally well packaged. Dev caters for the needs of the customer. Quality and taste of the food is highly commendable. For an additional charge it was delivered on time. Open and reciprocal communication was evident before, during and after the order. Best wishes and blessings.

The snowballs and puri patha were so fresh and delicious. So good to have a piece of home all the way here in NZ

Great flavour, exactly how I remember the patha rolls from SA to be. Love how Devani thinks of convenience and slices the rolls and parcels them individually.

I was very impressed with all the items I picked up from Devani. The lemon merangue pie was delicious and the Bunny chow, biryani and the samoosas were great. Thank you for the effort you put into preparing this food. Best regards Chris

Dev, thank you once again for filling our tummies & souls with a true taste of home. Spices were perfectly balanced and super tasty as usual. As long as you cook, I'll eat haha. Keep up the hard work. Its hard to please my fussy family & me (vege) but you nail it everytime. Thank you.

My husband and I enjoyed the food! We will order again next time....

Absolutely loved the curry! So much flavour, with a nice little kick but not overly spicy. The perfect balance of spice and flavour — such a great curry!

What an amazing cake! Looked fantastic and tasted even better!

Devani baked an amazing cake for my sons 15th birthday. It was absolutely delicious and he loved it . He got exactly what he asked for a vanilla cake with macaroons. Thanks so much Dev🙏🤗

Bought the sweet and savoury platters which had a good selection with puri pata and gulab jamin on the side to go. Well presented with authentic flavours. Enjoyable and tasty.

A big thank you to Devine Bakes for the delicious samoosas and puri patha! I ordered them for my sister and parents, who are from Durban and were visiting her. They couldn't stop raving about the food and said it tasted just like home. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and brought back wonderful memories. Thank you for the excellent food and service. I highly recommend Devine Bakes!

First order for Patha & Puri which was truly delicious with great presentation & service

"Absolutely stunning and incredibly delicious! Devine Bakes created the most beautiful cake for our celebration. The Lemon Meringue Cake. It was a "Melt in your mouth", Often, cakes that look this extravagant don't taste as good, but this one was remarkably moist, perfectly sweet, and full of flavour. The best cake ever.I will definitely be ordering again!"

Wow. Amazing and delicious platters. I ordered both savoury and sweet platters for a work function and my colleagues were blown away. They had never tasted authentic South African flavours before and were totally in awe. Thank you Devani for bringing South Africa to NZ. With you here I will never miss the flavours of SA. 😘

Devani listened carefully to exactly what I wanted, and the entire process was efficient from start to finish. Everything was absolutely delicious! The base cake was freshly made, and the savoury bites were ready on time, even though we had placed her under a bit of pressure with our timeline. She is an amazing person to work with, and her food truly speaks for itself. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional quality and service.

Amazing service. Super efficient and professional. Samosas bought were tasty look forward to tasting all the other special goodies offered.

Devani was accommodating from the get go and did everything to ensure that we had delicious food for my recent function. The pies, samoosas and mini pizzas were all beautifully packaged with instructions to prepare ahead. Snowballs and mini milk tarts finished off the evening and was reminiscent of childhood days.

You are undoubtedly one of the Kiwis' best cake makers, the taste, the design, the detail and the professionalism. We adore your skill and the tantalising, mouthwatering joy you deliver to our taste buds.

After being away from home (Durban) since 2020 it was amazing to have a feast this weekend and have all our favourite Durban dishes. Excellent service and delicious food. Will definitely be a recurring customer.

As a fellow South African, I can honestly say this took me straight back home. The Durban-style puri patha was absolutely top-tier – soft, fresh, full of flavour, and made the way it’s meant to be. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite. And the snowballs? Hands down the freshest I’ve ever had. Perfectly – not too sweet. Both were so good and so nostalgic. If you’re missing home flavours done properly, this is the place. Highly recommend!
