A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order and event date. Your order is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
When is my remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your scheduled event. Orders placed within 14 days of the event must be paid in full when booking.
Are deposits or payments refundable?
No. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Because each order is custom-made and your date is reserved specifically for you, refunds are not provided for cancellations, changes, or failure to accept the order.
Can I make changes to my order?
Please submit all final details and requested changes at least 14 days before your event. Changes requested after that time are not guaranteed and may require an additional fee.
Will my order look exactly like the inspiration photo?
Inspiration photos are always welcome, but I do not create exact replicas of another artist’s work. Each order is customized by Delta Cookie Co., and slight variations in color, shape, placement, and design are normal with handmade products.
What happens after I pick up my order?
Once an order has been picked up or delivered to you, your representative, or venue staff, responsibility for the order transfers to the recipient. Delta Cookie Co. is not responsible for damage caused by handling, transportation, heat, humidity, outdoor placement, or improper storage after pickup or delivery.
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery may be available depending on the date, location, and order size. Delivery fees are quoted separately. Please provide complete and accurate delivery details, including the address, time, contact person, and any venue instructions.
What conditions are required for cakes and desserts?
Products must be kept indoors in a climate-controlled environment at or below 75°F. A sturdy, level table and an appropriate cake stand or display surface must be provided. Heat, humidity, and direct sunlight can damage buttercream, icing, chocolate, and other decorations.
Can my order be displayed outside?
Outdoor display is not recommended. Mississippi heat and humidity can quickly affect baked goods and decorations. Delta Cookie Co. cannot guarantee the condition of products placed outdoors or in areas without proper climate control.
Do you accommodate food allergies?
Products are made in a home kitchen where wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and other allergens may be present. Delta Cookie Co. is not an allergen-free bakery and cannot guarantee that cross-contact will not occur.
Are your products made in a commercial kitchen?
No. Delta Cookie Co. operates under Mississippi’s Cottage Food Law. Products are made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Mississippi’s food safety regulations.
What happens if Delta Cookie Co. cannot complete my order?
In the rare event that an order cannot be completed because of illness, severe weather, an emergency, or another circumstance beyond reasonable control, Delta Cookie Co. will communicate with you as soon as possible and determine the appropriate next steps.
Will photos of my order be posted online?
Delta Cookie Co. may photograph completed products and use those images for social media, website content, advertising, and other promotional purposes.
