Policies
Delivery and Set Up
Delivery is 35% of your order total Set up at your venue is $50 max of 40 min. Please have the dessert table ready to receive your order prior to my arrival. The table should not be moved once set up is complete.
Terms & Conditions
***Payment of your invoice indicates acceptance and adherence to the terms and conditions listed below *** 1. Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable. If the deposit is not paid within 48 hours of the order date (unless otherwise indicated ), the order can be canceled without written notice. 2. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least one week prior to your event or the contract is null and void. The deposit will not be refunded or transferred. If an extension is requested and granted, there could be a 15% rush order fee assessed to the remaining balance unless otherwise stated. 3. The date of your final payment is 7 calendar days prior to your order due date, unless otherwise indicated. 4. The final payment date is the final date for any changes to size, style or flavors. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges. 5. Delivery and setup fees (if applicable) will be calculated into the invoice total. 6. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup or pick-up is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below . Butter cream cakes are not suitable for temperatures over 75 degrees and may melt. You will be required to sign a cake order approval and release. 7. If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will arrange up to 25 stems free; $1 for each additional stem. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for reactions to the items listed. 8. If a designated a representative is assigned to accept delivery and approve the cake on the date of delivery they will be required to sign a order approval and release. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Delectable Occasions possession 9. On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. 10. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions. 11. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Delectable Occasions to complete the agreement and is subject to labor disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control. 12. I acknowledge that it is my sole responsibility to check my contract to ensure all details are correct. If changes to this contract are required, I acknowledge that it is my sole responsibility to notify Delectable Occasions in writing as soon as possible of requested changes. I understand that the cake details (flavor, styles, size etc.) stated on my contract will supersede any verbal or other written communication. I hereby acknowledge that if it is not on the contract, it will not be included in the order. I give some degree of artistic license concerning my cake design. I understand that my cake will be the closest representation of the agreed upon design. By signing below I agree to the charges, payment breakdown and due dates indicated within the contract and invoice. I agree that I am the person responsible for all payments and decisions regarding this order. Payment of my invoice also serves as agreement and adherence to the terms and conditions.
