Welcome to Dals Dough, a small family-owned micro bakery in Hoover, Alabama, where every loaf, English muffin, cinnamon roll, and cookie is handcrafted in small batches with care.
What began as a passion for creating incredible sourdough has grown into something much bigger thanks to the amazing community that has welcomed us into their homes and around their tables. Every recipe is made from scratch using quality ingredients, long fermentation, and the belief that great bread simply takes time.
Dals Dough is led by John, a Culinary Institute of America–trained chef with more than 30 years of culinary experience. His passion for artisan baking and commitment to quality are found in every product we make. Behind the scenes, Amy keeps everything running—from customer service and deliveries to markets, social media, and making sure every customer feels like family.
Our name comes from our lifelong love of Dalmatians, with our sweet girl, Torre, serving as the face of Dals Dough and welcoming customers everywhere from our market tent to our packaging.
Whether you’re picking up a warm loaf of sourdough, our customer-favorite English muffins, a pan of cinnamon rolls, or one of our famous oatmeal cream pies, we hope every bite brings a little comfort, joy, and connection to your table.

Delivery & Pickup Locations We offer convenient porch pickup and local meet-up locations throughout the Birmingham area. 🏡 Porch Pickup Hoover – Lake Cyrus 📍 Meet-Up Locations * Hoover – Target at The Grove * Helena – Publix at Crow’s Corner * Ross Bridge – Ross Bridge Grocery * Liberty Park – Publix at The Bray * Chelsea – Forest Lakes Neighborhood (Wednesdays, 5:15–5:45 PM) Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive a text message the day before your pickup with your scheduled pickup time and any final details. For all meet-up locations, we’ll meet customers in the parking lot for a quick, convenient pickup.

Order Schedule To ensure every item is baked fresh, Dals Dough offers pickup and local delivery on Wednesdays and Fridays only. Simply select your preferred pickup or delivery option during checkout, and we’ll take care of the rest.
