Hi, I’m Melissa the baker behind the icing 👋 I am based in Troy, Alabama, a mom of three, and I homeschool my two youngest children. God has blessed me with the gift of creativity and cookie decorating has become a joyful outlet where I get to blend art, intention, and celebration.

I create custom sugar cookies for moments big and small, all baked from scratch and hand-decorated with care. I’m grateful to use this small business to serve others and be part of life’s sweetest celebrations.

Cookie Ordering & Business Policies

Placing an Order

• Orders are placed through Bakesy and are not confirmed until payment is received.

• I recommend ordering as early as possible, especially for holidays and busy seasons. Limited availability applies.

Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of ordering to secure your spot.

• Prices are based on design complexity, number of colors, and details. Final pricing will be shown before checkout.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Due to the custom nature of decorated cookies, all sales are final once production has begun.

• Cancellations made 7 days or more before your scheduled pickup may receive a credit toward a future order.

• Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.

Design & Customization

• I love bringing your ideas to life. Inspiration photos are welcome, but exact replicas are not guaranteed.

• Minor design changes may occur to best suit the cookie size and overall aesthetic.

• Mini cookies may have limited design detail.

Pickup & Delivery

• Cookies are available for local pickup in Troy, Alabama at the scheduled time selected during checkout.

Allergens

• Cookies are made in a home kitchen that may handle common allergens including dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts, and soy.

• While care is taken, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free product.

Freshness & Care

• Cookies are heat-sealed for freshness and are best enjoyed within 7-14 days.

• Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Product can be frozen in an air tight container. To maintain the integrity of the designs it is necessary to thaw in the container completely before opening. Do Not Refrigerate.

Communication

• Order-related questions are best handled through Bakesy messaging or Facebook Messenger.

• Response times are typically within 24–48 business hours.
