Cake Care Instructions Thank you for trusting me with your special order! To ensure your cake looks and tastes its best, please follow the instructions below. 🎂 Transportation • Always transport your cake on a flat surface (floorboard of the passenger seat or trunk space works best). • Keep the cake level at all times. • Avoid sudden stops, sharp turns, or placing it on a/ the car seat. • Keep the vehicle cool, especially in Arizona heat. ❄️ Storage • Store cake in the refrigerator until ready to serve. • Keep it in the original box for protection. • Avoid placing near strong-smelling foods. 🌡 Serving Temperature For best flavor and texture, remove cake from the refrigerator: • Buttercream cakes: 1–2 hours before serving • Fondant-covered cakes: 2–3 hours before serving • Cake should be at room temperature before cutting. 🔪 Cutting Tips • Use a sharp, clean knife. • Wipe the blade between slices for clean cuts. • For tall cakes, cut in small sections rather than large wedges. ☀️ Heat Warning (Especially Important in Tucson) • Cakes are sensitive to heat. • Do not leave in a warm car. • Do not leave outdoors. • Direct sunlight will cause buttercream and fillings to soften quickly. 🕒 Shelf Life • Best enjoyed within 2–3 days. • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. • Most cakes can be frozen (wrapped tightly) for up to 1 month.
