As a home-based boutique bakery, my weekends fill up quickly! I generally recommend booking 6-10 weeks in advance (it's never too soon).However, if you have a last-minute request, feel free to fill out the order form and I will see if I can squeeze you in.
Do you offer Gluten-Free or Vegan options?
Yes! We have dedicated recipes for both Gluten-Free and Vegan treats. However, please note that all our items are prepared in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.
How should I transport my cake?
Cakes are delicate! The safest place for a cake is on a flat surface in a cool, air-conditioned car—the boot or the footwell of the front passenger seat is usually the best spot. Avoid putting cakes on seats, as they are tilted and can cause the cake to slide.
How should I store my cake before the event?
Buttercream cakes love to be kept cool!
Before the event: Store your cake in its box in the fridge.
Serving: For the best flavour and texture, take the cake out of the fridge 1–2 hours before serving (depending on the weather) so the buttercream can soften to a creamy consistency.
Avoid Heat: Never leave your cake in direct sunlight or in a hot car, as the buttercream will melt.
Do you deliver, or do I need to collect?
We offer both!
Collection: Free of charge from Langwarrin. We will agree on a specific 1 hour window for pickup to ensure I’m there to hand over your treats personally.
Delivery, subject to availability: We can deliver across the Mornington Peninsula. Delivery fees start from $50 AUD and are calculated based on the distance from our kitchen. For tiered wedding cakes, professional delivery and setup are highly recommended to ensure your cake arrives perfectly.
Can I send you a photo of a cake I like?
Absolutely! Inspiration photos are great for understanding the "vibe" you’re after. Please keep in mind that as a handmade product, I don’t offer exact replicas, but I will create a beautiful version that fits the Coventreats style.
How much do your cakes cost?
Because every cake is custom-made, prices vary based on size and design complexity. As a guide, our custom celebration cakes for 15+ people generally start from $200 AUD.
Does submitting an order form mean I’m booked?
Not quite! The form is an inquiry to check my availability. Your date is only officially secured in my calendar once we’ve confirmed the design and your 15% non-refundable deposit has been paid.
