Cinnamon & Crust began in my kitchen during one of the sweetest seasons of my life — early motherhood. What started as simple experimenting turned into something so much more meaningful.
It all began with cinnamon rolls and red velvet cake. I kept baking, tweaking, and trying to make them just a little better each time. When my daughter was about a year and a half old and could stand at the counter, she joined me in the kitchen. She helped mix batter, practiced rolling cinnamon rolls, and learned alongside me. Baking quickly became something we shared — a way to slow down, connect, and create memories together.
As our family grew, so did our time in the kitchen. After welcoming our son, both of my kids could often be found standing at the counter beside me, helping where they could. Baking became something we loved doing together — a place where we gathered, laughed, learned, and made memories.
Eventually, that journey led us to sourdough. We dove into the process together, learning the science behind it and finding joy in every step. Our kitchen became a place where we experimented, bonded, and spent time together — because really, who doesn’t love to bond over food?
Feeding people has always been a love language of mine, but once I started my own family, it took on a deeper meaning. Creating food that brings comfort, warmth, and connection to others has become something truly special to me.
As I became a stay-at-home mom, I began fully immersing myself in baking and sourdough, falling in love with the craft and the creativity behind it. What started as a personal passion slowly grew as people began asking if they could purchase what I was making — something I never imagined at the time.
That’s when I took the leap and started Cinnamon & Crust as a home-based cottage bakery.
Now, a year in — and heading into our second year in 2026 — I am incredibly grateful for every customer who has supported us, returned again and again, and shared our baked goods with their families. Every item that leaves our kitchen is made with care, intention, and so much love.
My hope is that you feel that love in every bite and enjoy it just as much as I enjoy making it.
Stay sweet💛
With love and cinnamon rolls,
Lindsey

How do I care for my baked goods?
All of our items are made fresh with no preservatives, so they are best enjoyed within the first 2–5 days for optimal flavor and texture. Storage and care will vary slightly depending on the item.
Sourdough Bread Care
• For best freshness and taste, enjoy your sourdough within 3–5 days.
• Store at room temperature in an airtight bag or container to help preserve the crust.
• Do not refrigerate, as this can cause the bread to dry out and become stale more quickly.
• Sourdough can be frozen for up to 6 months. For best results, slice before freezing and place parchment paper between slices.
• To revive fresh or thawed bread, lightly sprinkle the crust with water and heat in the oven at 350–375°F for 10–15 minutes (oven times may vary).
• Frozen slices can also be refreshed by thawing and toasting.
⸻
Cinnamon Roll Care
• Cinnamon rolls are best enjoyed within 2–3 days for peak freshness.
• Store in an airtight container away from heat and moisture.
• For longer storage, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
• Cinnamon rolls can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before reheating.
• Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 350°F for 5–10 minutes, covering with foil to prevent drying.
• For a single roll, place a slightly damp paper towel over it and microwave for 30–60 seconds.
⸻
Cookies & Other Baked Goods
• Cookies, muffins, and other pastries are best stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
• Most items will stay fresh for 5–7 days, depending on the product.
• For best flavor and texture, we recommend enjoying these items within the first few days after purchase.
