As early as you can. I prefer at least 3 weeks notice for all orders and any accepted orders under 1 week will have a non-refundable rush fee of $25 added.
Why is your menu limited?
I operate in the exemptions policy of the Virginia Home Food Processing Guidelines and cannot sell anything that requires refrigeration. I also have all of my recipes tested by Virginia Tech to ensure I meet these requirements. As my business continues to grow, I will send more recipes for testing 1-2 times annually.
What is your refund policy?
The 50% deposit (that is due at order confirmation) is non-refundable. Depending on the situation, the amount refunded will be discussed with the customer. (Factors considered for refunds: amount of product returned, what happened, quality of product, etc…) If a rush order fee is added, that is also non-refundable.
Can I cancel my order?
Of course you can cancel your order; however, if you cancel at least 2 weeks before your due date, only your 50% non-refundable deposit will be withheld. Any additional payment will be returned.
If you cancel within 1 week of your due date, your 50% non refundable deposit and 25% of your final payment will be withheld and only 25% of your final payment will be refunded.
What happens if my cake (any ordered item) falls apart at my venue?
Please contact me immediately so we can discuss. My policy is that once you have received (picked up) your item(s), you are then responsible for it. I cannot be responsible for the item(s) once they are out of my control.
Can I make changes to my order?
Yes and No. once the order is placed, you can make changes until 2 weeks from your due date. Minor changes may be considered, so, please contact me and discuss. Some changes may require a fee while other may not. This is very dependent on what you are requesting.
