For me, baking serves as a therapeutic outlet, combining chemistry and culinary art. I have fond memories of assisting my mother in the kitchen, particularly when it came to baking the Sunday dinner cake. After she recently passed away, I rediscovered my passion for baking, which has helped me feel connected to her. As she was also a skilled cake decorator, I hope she would be proud of the skills she instilled in me.
