Hi, I’m Selene — the baker and cake artist behind Cakeupselene. My love for cake decorating began while working as a cake decorator at Whole Foods Market, where I first learned the art behind creating beautiful celebration cakes. What started as making cakes for my son to make his birthdays feel extra special quickly turned into a passion of bringing that same joy to other families.
After years of practicing, growing, and balancing full time work and motherhood, I officially launched Cakeupselene in 2021. Today, every cake is handcrafted with intention, detail, and the goal of making each celebration feel beautiful, personal, and unforgettable.

Terms & Conditions
ORDER REVIEW:
Please allow up to 48 hours for order review and confirmation.
An invoice will be sent via text/email once your order is approved.
PAYMENT POLICY:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order.
Orders are not confirmed until payment is received.
The remaining balance is due 24 hours before pickup.
Orders not paid in full by the due date may be canceled without notice.
Last-minute orders may require full payment upfront.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
Cancellation Policy:
-Orders canceled 7+ days before the scheduled date are eligible for a deposit refund
-Orders canceled less than 7 days before pick-up are non-refundable
-No refunds will be issued once the order has been completed or picked up.
DESIGN & CUSTOM ORDERS:
All cakes are custom-made. Inspiration photos are used as a reference only — exact replicas are not guaranteed.
Colors, florals, and small details may vary slightly to maintain design quality.
Any additional design changes or add-ons may result in price adjustments.
PICKUP POLICY:
Customers must arrive at their scheduled pickup time.
A 15–30 minute grace period is allowed. After that, a late fee may apply.
Orders not picked up may be forfeited without refund.
TRANSPORT & LIABILITY:
Once your order is picked up, Cakeupselene is not responsible for any damage.
Cakes should be transported on a flat surface (floor or trunk) and kept cool.
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, weather, or transportation.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Cakes must be kept refrigerated until ready to serve.
For best taste and texture, remove from the fridge 30–60 minutes before serving.
ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Our products may contain or come into contact with:
dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, and nuts.
Please notify us of any allergies before placing your order.
PHOTOS & CONTENT:
Cakeupselene reserves the right to photograph all orders and use images for marketing and social media purposes.
RUSH ORDERS:
Orders placed within 48–72 hours of the pickup date may be subject to a rush fee.
Quick Orders:
Quick orders are pre-set designs available for faster checkout.
These designs come as shown with limited to no modifications.
-No major design changes allowed
-Only select options (color, wording, etc.) if available
-Add-ons may be limited or unavailable
-Must be paid in full at checkout
Custom Orders:
Custom orders are fully personalized and priced based on design, details, and time required.
-Pricing varies depending on complexity
-Must be submitted for approval before booking
