ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE. A non-refundable deposit of $50 or 50% of order total is required for all orders. The non-refundable deposit secures the order date and goes towards the order total. Orders are not confirmed until non-refundable deposits are received. Non-refundable deposits are due within 24 hours of inquiry. Full payment is required for all orders placed less than 14 days of the event. We must receive the balance before the order due date indicated or contract is null and void.

We understand plans change and we will gladly assist you in making changes to your order whenever possible. It’s important to understand we do our best to accommodate your request however changes may not be made within 7 days of the order due date. At the earliest time please contact Cakes By Quia if needed. Rush Fee A Rush Fee of $25 will be applied to all orders placed less than two weeks in advance of the order due date. Placing orders in advance allows Cakes By Quia to adequately prepare the order in sufficient time.

Unless otherwise discussed with the owner of Cakes By Quia. Delivery Fee: All orders in need of delivery will automatically be charged a $25 fee to transport the order to the customer within the North Carolina Triad Area (Greensboro, High Point, Winston) Additional fees will apply if delivery address is outside of North Carolina Triad Area. Transport: Cakes By Quia is not responsible for any damages occurred to the items during transport, set-up or any time thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick up and delivery. Keep in mind desert’s are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly, such as cracks, smudges, melting, sliding, etc.

Although many of our deserts are nut-free this is not a nut free facility. We caution customers who are allergic to wheat, soy, eggs, milk, nuts, fresh fruit, shellfish, fish, gluten, dye(s) or any other foods or allergens to consume sweets made by Cakes By Quia. You may eat at your own risk.

It gets very hot in North Carolina through out the spring and summer. It is best practice to keep desserts in a cold climate such as the refrigerator to prevent damage to items. If desserts are left out in the sun, heat or hot temperatures damages may occur. Cakes By Quia is not responsible for any damages due to weather conditions or air quality.

Due to the tedious, handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for custom orders. Once you receive the order, it is considered "accepted" – we will ask to make sure everything is correct according to the order form submitted. Refunds requested due to decorating style or general design will not be honored. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our hands. If you are completely “unsatisfied” with the order you must return the order immediately in its original packaging uncut to discuss other options.
