🍰 Butter & Batter – Terms & Conditions Welcome to Butter & Batter! By placing an order with me, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to protect both you (the customer) and me (the baker), and to make sure everything runs smoothly. ⸻ 📌 Orders & Payment • All custom orders require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. Your order is not confirmed until this payment is made. • The remaining balance must be paid in full before pickup. No exceptions. • Prices are subject to change based on design, size, and ingredient costs. •. Cake orders must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the due date. Any orders placed after that will incur a $30 late submission fee. ⸻ 📌 Cancellations & Changes • Deposits are non-refundable, even if the order is canceled. • Cancellations made less than 7 days before pickup will still require full payment, as supplies and time are already invested. • Design changes must be finalized no later than 7 days before pickup. ⸻ 📌 Pickup Policy • Butter & Batter is a pick-up only bakery located on JBER. • If you do not have base access, an additional meet-off-base fee will be added to your order. • Please arrive at the agreed pickup time. I cannot be held responsible for cakes left unattended or picked up late. ⸻ 📌 Allergies & Dietary Restrictions • Butter & Batter products are made in a home kitchen under Alaska Cottage Food Law. • My kitchen is not allergen-free. I cannot guarantee the absence of common allergens such as gluten, nuts, soy, or dairy. • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform me of any allergies before placing an order. Butter & Batter is not liable for any allergic reactions. ⸻ 📌 Cake Care & Responsibility • Once your order is picked up, Butter & Batter is not responsible for any damage, melting, or mishandling. • Detailed care instructions will be provided at pickup, please follow them to keep your cake looking its best! • Stacked/tiered cakes require careful handling and a flat, safe transport surface. ⸻ 📌 Photos & Social Media • Butter & Batter reserves the right to take and share photos of all creations for marketing and social media purposes. • If you prefer your order not be shared online, please let me know in advance. ⸻ 📌 Liability • By placing an order, you acknowledge that Butter & Batter is not responsible for: • Allergic reactions. • Late pickups, no-shows, or mishandling after pickup. • Customer dissatisfaction due to design changes not confirmed in writing. • All sales are final. ⸻ 📌 Agreement By placing an order with Butter & Batter, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions listed above.
