The intensity of the chocolate flavor will not disappoint. Similar to my vanilla cupcakes, these are a made from a recipe that I’m truly proud of and put a lot of work into. ⭐️Homemade Frosting Options:⭐️ Classic American Buttercream - This is the super sweet, fluffy frosting you’re probably used to getting at most local bakeries. Chocolate Fudge Frosting - This is NOT a chocolate buttercream. This is a very rich, decadent chocolate frosting. It has very strong chocolate flavor, and much less sweet than buttercream. Whipped Frosting - This is a stabilized whipped cream, meaning its sweet and fluffy like a homemade whipped cream, but it wont lose its shape or deflate over time. It could be compared to grocery store whipped icing, but ours has better flavor and doesn’t leave that waxy feel I sometimes notice with grocery store whipped icings. This is a great option for people who find American buttercream to be too sweet. Peanut Butter Frosting - This is a sweet, thick, and fluffy peanut butter buttercream icing. It has lots of peanut butter flavor and is my favorite when paired with chocolate cake!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never been impressed by a plain vanilla cake or cupcakes. They always seem to have a dense, cornbread-like texture, and greatly lack flavor and sweetness. I always wanted a vanilla cake that was light, bouncy, and airy. Something that was sweet enough to eat on its own, but not too sweet for frosting. Strong vanilla flavor. It took me years and many wasted batches. Many cakes I just wasn’t proud of. Just basic vanilla cupcakes. Nothing that stood out to anyone. Until finally a I got the PERFECT vanilla cake batter mastered. This massive, extra creamy, and rich cheesecake has turned many “I don’t like cheesecake” sayers into cheesecake fiends. I never loved how most cheesecakes were either your typical frozen dessert section cheesecakes, or were dense and grainy in texture. Like my vanilla cupcake recipe, it took me a very long time and a lot of mistakes to finally nail down a recipe that yields great, rich, flavor, and an incredible creamy texture.
