I’m a passionate sourdough baker originally from Oregon. I found my love for baking through the Lord shortly after we moved to Texas. I was a stay at home mom for many years. I felt a calling to survey my new community in some way and the Lord called me towards sourdough. My sourdough starts name is Doughah's Ark!
It's been over a year since I started my mission on offering healthier bread option to Austin County.
I’ve been happily married to my high school sweetheart for 17 years, and together, we have four wonderful kids.
We cherish our family time, whether it’s enjoying sports, going to church, exploring nature, gardening, or discovering new restaurants.
Join me on this delicious journey as I share my love for baking and my journey to opening a official bakery one day. The larger goal is brick & mortar. It isn't possible with the Lord & without you.

Bake shed
We are finishing up the bake shed real soon!
We have a little bake shed on our front property.
There will be a ring door bell and camera along with a code locking system. When you arrive please ring the door bell & the combination code will be given to you via a LIVE voice greeting from me.
The code will be changed regularly.
If you need to use a card for payment let me know when the code is given and I'll bring out my Square card reader.
You are free to browse the shed unattended. I may pop in to say hello and ask if you need anything.
Payment options will be cash, cashapp, venmo and major cards.
There may be other items for sale other than food periodically.

All baked items are sourdough
I do not use commercial yeast, harsh preservativesbor seed oils.
My starters name is Doughah's Ark and is over 2 years old. I feed him a diet of whole wheat, bread flour and filtered water. 😁
If a item DOESNT turn out right or bake day is canceled.
If a bake day goes astray and things don't come out right, or I have a family emergency and cant get to baking, what do I do?
If a item comes out not to my satisfaction, I will contact you and we will discuss the situation.
For example, if a loaf comes out flat I will give you a option for a discount or a rebake for the following bake day or if you need it for a occasion before the next bake day I will feed my starter and make it ASAP.
If a family emergency happens on my end I will make an announcement on my Facebook and send out personal messages to current customers.
This is the main reason why I do not collect payment until the day of pickup.
What kind of flour I use.
My bread flour, whole Wheat and all purpose flours are always unbleached and never bromated. My all purpose flours is grown in Italy with strict regulations.
I do have a option for organic flour for a upcharge of $2 per item.
We will be getting a mill and milling our own flours soon.

What items change on the menu regularly.
We add/rotate new flavors of scones every month. We are up to 15 flavors!
Breads get new flavors randomly and tend to stay on the menu for longer periods.
Waffles may get a new flavor during seasonal changes.
We try to add new items monthly such as cookies, cupcakes, brownies and more.
We are always open to flavor and item suggestions, don't be shy. You help shape the bakery for our community.
