Hi! I’m Retha Hess! The wife to a very supportive husband and mother to three creative kids.

I started baking in my parents kitchen at an early age in the Bahamas.

Today Big Brown Butter is a home bakery created in my kitchen here in Franklin, Wisconsin. I first started with just my jumbo cookies but now I offer a variety of baked goods and chocolate treats.
