Meet the Baker

Hi, I’m Joanna—the veteran, paramedic, and baker behind Batter & Bloom Bake Co, a home-based bakery in Seven Springs, North Carolina.

Serving others has always been an important part of who I am. Whether serving my country, caring for people as a paramedic, or baking something special for my community, I have always found purpose in bringing comfort and joy to others.

Batter & Bloom grew from my love of baking and creating desserts that are every bit as memorable as they are delicious. I specialize in generously sized, 5–5.4-ounce gourmet cookies inspired by the famous thick and gooey NYC bakery-style cookie. Each batch is made fresh to order with premium ingredients and plenty of chocolate, caramel, nuts, homemade fudge, and other delicious mix-ins.

Every cookie is carefully handcrafted in my home kitchen. I want each one to feel like more than just a sweet treat—it should feel homemade, indulgent, and thoughtfully made for the person receiving it.

Batter represents the heart of what I create, while Bloom reflects the joy that can grow from sharing something made with love. From my kitchen in Seven Springs to your home, it is an honor to be part of your celebrations, gifts, family gatherings, or simply those moments when you deserve something sweet.

Final payment due 24 hrs before pickup

Deposits are non-refundable.

For cancellation greater than 24 hrs in advance, deposit will apply to future orders.

For orders cancelled in less than 24 hours, deposit is forfeited.
