Can you accommodate food allergies? Do you offer gluten-free options?
While I would love to accommodate everyone, my home kitchen regularly uses common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten and eggs. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that any of my products are allergen-free (and most of my products contain wheat, milk and eggs). All common food allergens are clearly marked on each individual product label. If you have a food allergy, I kindly recommend exercising caution when enjoying my treats.
Do you offer custom designs?
Short answer - yes…but not always!
Long answer - I love decorating cookies for all kinds of events. Whether you have a specific theme in mind or need help coming up with ideas, I’m happy to collaborate with you. That said, I am a home baker (with a family and a day job), so while I do my best to accommodate all custom requests, I may not be able to fit you into my schedule depending on the complexity and/or volume. That said, please ask and I’ll do my best to accommodate you!
How are your cookies packaged?
Generally, our sugar cookies are individually wrapped and heat-sealed to preserve freshness.
Gift wrapping is available for an extra fee. For example, our cookies are often purchased to use as party favors and can be individually wrapped with a bow or curling ribbon to match your theme.
Where are you located? Do you have a storefront?
I operate under cottage food laws, which means I bake from my licensed home kitchen. While I don’t have a storefront, I offer pickup/delivery options to/from Rahway, NJ.
I’m not local, can you ship to me?
Unfortunately, as a NJ cottage food operator I am not permitted to deliver products by mail, in or outside the State of New Jersey. I currently offer pickup/delivery options.
Are you permitted to sell your baked goods from your home kitchen?
Yes, I have completed all requirements and was granted a Cottage Food Operator Permit in the State of New Jersey (CFO#2608), including successful completion of the standards set forth for the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Examination, which is accredited by the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) National Accreditation Board (ANAB)–Conference for Food Protection (CFP).
How far in advance should I place an order?
I recommend placing custom orders at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability. For large or event orders, more notice may be needed. I occasionally offer flash sales or pre-made sets, which are available on shorter notice and will be posted on my site.
How should I store the cookies?
Our sugar cookies are individually wrapped and heat sealed to maintain freshness for up to 2 weeks at room temperature. If you want to save them for longer, they can be frozen (in their packaging) in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Just let them come to room temperature before enjoying.
Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
To confirm your order, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is due upon delivery. Cancellations made within 3 days of the pickup/delivery date are non-refundable. Thank you for understanding the time and care that goes into each order.
Do you offer gift packaging or custom tags?
Yes! I offer optional gift packaging, including boxes, bows, ribbon, and custom tags. Let me know if you’re interested in adding these finishing touches to your order.
