Basic To Boozy

Let me introduce you to "Basic to Boozy," an in-home Bakery where love and sometimes alcohol are the secret ingredients! I'm Kristy, your local cottage baker, crafting custom cakes, breads and pastries for all your special occasions, from holidays, to birthdays to 'just because' moments.

I suppose my passion for baking was handed down for generations on my mother's side, with my great-grandparents opening White Way Lunch in 1929, a family run business for 56 years. My taste for alcohol came from my Daddy and his love of "the good stuff."

As for my cake decorating, that has been self-taught the entire way and it all stems from my desire to be the one who made my daughter’s birthday cakes, which then turned into a desire to make the best baked goods I could.

My specialty, of course, is the White Way bread, made just like my family has always made it. Also gaining in popularity among my returning customers are my cakes, basic cupcakes, liquor infused cupcakes, number cakes, pies, cookies and peanut butter balls. All specialty orders will require a price quote. For a quote and to check availability please reach out at minimum 3 weeks in advance of the date needed.

Please allow a 3 week lead time on all specialty & custom cake orders and at least a 10 day minimum for all other orders. If you need something sooner than the lead time allows, please reach out to me and I will let you know if I can accommodate. I will certainly do all I can, but please keep in mind that I do work a 40 hour per week job. Thank you!

A 10% non-refundable order deposit is due within 48 hours of order placement with final payment due upon pickup.
