Welcome to Bard & Butter Bakery, a queer woman-owned home bakery where every treat is made with love and a little rock ‘n’ roll!

I’m Maurissa—a mom, former professional bassist, and longtime musician-turned-baker. After nearly 15 years of teaching music and performing, I’m bringing my passion for cooking and baking back to the forefront. With experience in a California restaurant kitchen and a deep love for crafting fresh bread and sweet treats, I create homemade delights that bring comfort and joy.

From warm, crusty loaves to decadent pastries, everything I bake is made from scratch with high-quality ingredients and a whole lot of heart.

My goal? To make people smile, one bite at a time!

All food is prepared in a kitchen that is not subject to regulation and inspection by a regulatory authority.
