As a Father looking for treats to make for his Kiddos, Josh began developing a cinnamon roll recipe.

For 4 years, he made his cinnamon rolls for friends & family, while they gently encouraged him to start a shop.

Finally, after making his cinnamon rolls for many friends and neighbors for the Christmas season, Balao Bakes opened its orders in the beginning of 2025.

Since then, Josh has been devoted to rolling the BEST cinnamon rolls, and has added Pecan Sticky Rolls to his menu. He continues to look for new additions to add.

Balao Bakes is open to parties & events as well as individual orders. You’ll soon be seeing the infamous rolls hitting farmers markets in the fall.
