A Life in Baking
Early Influences and Discovery
I first discovered my love for baking both at home and in a professional setting. Creating birthday cakes for family and friends became a cherished tradition that helped me develop my skills and ignited a lifelong passion.
Professional Experience and Inspiration
Prior to launching my own bakery, I established a solid foundation in the hospitality industry through customer service and restaurant operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. My time at upscale restaurants within the MGM Resorts, including the Bellagio, deepened my appreciation for gourmet cuisine and motivated me to pursue baking as a profession.
The Birth of BakeHaven Cottage
With my husband’s encouragement, I established BakeHaven Cottage, a cottage bakery grounded in craftsmanship and community. I combine modern and traditional techniques with flavors inspired by my Filipino heritage to offer an array of gourmet donuts, cake rolls, cookies, cupcakes, muffins, pastries, and custom cakes.
A Community-Centric Vision
I created BakeHaven Cottage to be more than just a source of desserts—I aim to craft memorable experiences. By focusing on the smallest details and maintaining a commitment to quality, creativity, and consistency, I ensure that every order feels extraordinary. For me, baking is a means to express creativity, celebrate culture, and unite people.
Capabilities & Pricing
Pastries like cake rolls, cake donuts, cupcakes, muffins, and more will be sold individually, in packs of 2, 4, 6 or by a dozen, with prices ranging from $5 to $35.
Custom cakes start at $35.00. Kindly note that custom cakes require a 2-week notice.
Please be informed that pre-order payments are required to be settled at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

How Early Should I Order?
We kindly request that you place your pre-order from Sunday to Wednesday. The pickup and delivery days will be Friday and Saturday. For your convenience, we offer delivery services within a 5-mile radius for a nominal fee of $5 and $10 for locations beyond that. BakeHaven Cottage is conveniently located in Charles Town, West Virginia. Please note that custom cake and cupcake orders require a minimum of two weeks' notice to ensure the utmost attention to detail and quality. We look forward to the opportunity to make your special occasions even more memorable with our delectable creations.
How And Where Are My Baked Goods Made?
We are located in Charles Town, West Virginia. All our baked goods are meticulously packaged to guarantee freshness. Each order is lovingly prepared and decorated in a home kitchen where we handle various food items, including eggs, all types of nuts, dairy products, fish, shellfish, soy, sesame, and wheat products. Please be advised that our products are produced at a private residence that is exempt from state licensing and inspection. We are pleased to offer a limited selection of gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan baked goods upon request.
Shipping
We offer shipping for some of our baked goods. The shipping cost will be determined by the weight and packaging, in addition to the cost of the items.
