Please carefully review the following terms, which represent the agreement between Baked with Grace and you (the customer).
Before submitting payment, please confirm all details listed on your invoice, including:
- Event date
- Dessert types, flavors, and fillings
- Design theme and style
- Any attached inspiration photos or notes
These details reflect the final agreement between you and Baked with Grace for your custom order.
If you have any questions or do not agree with any part of the invoice, you may decline the order by contacting bakedwithgraceia@gmail.com prior to making payment.
Once payment is submitted, the order is considered confirmed and is subject to the policies outlined in this agreement, including cancellation terms.
Your payment serves as your acknowledgment and agreement to these terms.
What are your payment terms and cancellation policy?
Custom Orders Under $500:
Full payment is due at the time the invoice is sent. Orders are not confirmed or added to our baking calendar until payment is received.
Custom Orders Over $500:
Final payment is required no later than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery date. Failure to submit payment by this deadline may result in cancellation of the order without refund.
All Wedding Orders:
– For all custom wedding orders, payment is due in full at the time of booking.
– For wedding packages, a non-refundable 50% retainer fee is required to reserve your date. Remaining payments may be made in installments up until 30 days before the event, when the final balance is due in full.
– No wedding orders will be fulfilled without full payment by the required deadline.
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
All payments are final and non-refundable. When you book with Baked with Grace, you reserve a dedicated time slot that cannot be rebooked once held. If you must cancel your order for any reason, a new date may be offered based on availability at the sole discretion of Baked with Grace.
In the unlikely event that Baked with Grace is unable to fulfill your order due to an unforeseen circumstance (e.g., emergency, illness, or natural disaster), you will be contacted as soon as possible and a full refund will be issued.
Do you offer credits or have an allergy disclaimer?
Store Credit Policy:
If you cancel, reschedule, or postpone your order after payment, a credit may be issued to your account at the discretion of Baked with Grace. This credit can be applied to a future order and must be used within 12 months of the original event date. Store credit cannot be transferred to another customer and may not be used toward wedding package retainer fees.
Allergy Disclaimer:
Products made by Baked with Grace are crafted in a home kitchen and may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to: milk, wheat, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and food coloring.
If any of your guests have food allergies or sensitivities, it is your responsibility to inform them of the potential risks. Baked with Grace is not liable for any allergic reactions caused by ingredients used in our products.
What is your policy on rush orders and availability?
Orders requested with less than 7 days' notice are considered rush orders and are accepted at the discretion of Baked with Grace. A rush fee may apply depending on complexity and availability.
What should I know about design variations?
Due to the handcrafted nature of our desserts, slight variations in color, design, or layout may occur. Inspiration photos are used for reference, not exact duplication.
Do you share photos of my order on social media?
Photos of your order may be taken and used for promotional purposes on social media, website galleries, or marketing materials. If you'd prefer your order not be shared, please let us know at the time of booking.
What is your policy on order changes and liability?
Liability Disclaimer:
Once your order has been picked up or delivered, Baked with Grace is no longer liable for any damage, loss, or mishandling that may occur. All desserts leave our care in excellent condition, and it becomes your responsibility to handle, store, and transport them safely according to our Care & Transport Guidelines.
Order Changes:
Please review your invoice carefully before submitting payment. This includes confirming your event date, flavors, quantities, design theme, and any custom details or attachments.
If changes are needed, they must be communicated before final payment is submitted. Once payment is made, we will consider the order confirmed and will proceed based on the approved invoice. No further changes can be guaranteed after that point.
What are your guidelines for caring for and transporting my order?
At Baked with Grace, we take great care to ensure your desserts are beautifully crafted and properly packaged for safe travel. Please review the following guidelines to help protect your order after pickup or delivery.
Care Instructions:
Care instructions will be provided prior to or at the time of pickup or delivery. Once the order is in your possession, you are responsible for handling and storing it properly. Please ensure desserts are placed on a level, stable surface and kept in a cool, climate-controlled environment.
We strongly advise against placing any desserts outdoors or in direct sunlight. Exposure to heat, humidity, or uneven surfaces can cause damage. Baked with Grace is not responsible for any damage caused by environmental conditions or improper handling after pickup or delivery.
Packaging & Transport:
All desserts are packaged securely and are ready for transport. For the safest travel, place your desserts on a flat surface such as the floorboard or trunk of your vehicle. Do not place desserts on a seat, as angled or unstable surfaces can cause them to shift, lean, or become damaged during transit.
