2. Shipping & Delivery
• I currently operate under Florida Cottage Food Law. This means products are prepared in my home kitchen
• Delivery times may vary depending on location, order size, and my production schedule. I will always communicate expected delivery or shipping windows.
• Once an order is shipped or handed off to a delivery carrier, I am not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by the carrier.
3. Returns & Refunds
• Due to the nature of baked goods, all sales are final.
• I do not accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been delivered or shipped, except in cases of error on my part.
• If there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 24 hours, and I will do my best to make it right.
4. Allergens & Food Safety
• My products are made in a home kitchen that also processes nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, and wheat.

3. Florida Cottage Food Law
• I operate under Florida’s Cottage Food Law, which allows me to prepare and sell baked goods from my home kitchen.

1. Business Registration
• I operate as Baked by Becs, LLC, a business legally registered and active with the Florida Division of Corporations (Sunbiz).
• My business entity remains in good standing and is renewed annually as required by law.
2. Florida Cottage Food Law
• I prepare my baked goods under Florida’s Cottage Food Law (Section 500.80, Florida Statutes).
• This law allows me to produce and sell certain baked goods from my home kitchen without needing a commercial food license, provided I comply with:
• An annual sales cap of $250,000.
• Required ingredient and allergen labeling on all packages.
• Sales limited to direct-to-consumer
• Each product is labeled to clearly state: “Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida’s food safety regulations.”
3. Insurance Coverage
• I maintain General Liability Insurance with Product Liability coverage to protect my customers, my business, and event organizers.
• My policy includes at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate coverage, with the ability to add venues or promoters as Additional Insureds upon request.
4. Food Handling & Safety
• I follow industry best practices for safe food handling, sanitation, and storage.
• While Florida does not require food handler certification for Cottage Food operations, I maintain food safety knowledge to ensure my products are made with care and quality.
• My kitchen and equipment are kept clean, sanitized, and organized to uphold high standards of hygiene.
5. Commitment to Compliance
• I am committed to meeting all legal, insurance, and safety requirements for operating my business in Florida.
• I continually monitor updates to Florida Cottage Food Law and event/vendor requirements to ensure full compliance.

How big are the cookies?
The standard size cookies range from 4-5oz each. The minis are about 3oz each.
