Annie's Sourdough

My name is Annie and what really inspired me to start my bakery was getting a job in a grocery store bakery in 2024. Things were sold as "freshly baked in store" but what that really meant was thawed out from frozen and baked in store. Not to mention the ingredient lists full of stuff I couldn't pronounce. I only lasted about 2 months there and decided quickly that it wasn't gonna be for me.

I bake fresh goods from quality ingredients. My true passion is bread, I really enjoy working the dough. But I can make just about anything you're looking for.

I like simple. My desserts won't have a pound of icing, plus a crumble, plus a drizzle, plus a cookie half. Less is more. I just want my treats to feel like home.

My only limitation will be decorated items like cakes and theme cookies. I am not set up with the equipment for that. But I have someone wonderful I can refer you to for those things.

I bake on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week. Items are available for porch pickup starting around 9am. Cold items will be kept refrigerated until you arrive.

For orders during the week outside of my normal bake days, there will be a $75 order minimum, and I will deliver for free in Waxahachie.
