Hello, My name is April. I am a mom, a wife, and a self taught cake artist. I am also the founder of 50 Shades of Sweet LLC, a home bakery located in Tn specializing in gourmet treats.

How did I get here you ask?

Well, it’s quite simple actually. You see, I’ve always had a passion for both cake and art, which stems from my childhood watching cake boss and taking art classes in school, but even after years of career searching, going from food service jobs and factories to working as a surgical technologist, something always seemed to be missing. So, on a whim, I decided to give starting a cake business a go, and well, I believe I have finally find my calling!

Creating edible masterpieces has become my creative escape. I have been crafting and baking sweets for 3 years now and seeing the joy on my clients’ faces is the icing on the cake!

I am deeply passionate about my work, as each cake or dessert I create has a special meaning and its own unique story to tell. 🧁
