About
Hellooooo! My name is Gionelly and I’ve loved food and kitchen chemistry since I was a girl. I completed three years of Culinary Arts classes in high school and fell in love with pastries in the midst of it. I later pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Baking & Pastry from Johnson & Wales University. I told my sister early on in my baking journey that I wanted my own version of Dominican bakery like the ones found in Washington Heights. Little did I know that that is exactly what would drive me today- to bring into fruition a bakery that best exemplifies my immigrant roots, my old school heritage, and my cherished first generation-born upbringing.
