SimplySweetCrumbs Terms and Conditions Order Placement & Payment * Booking: An order is only considered "confirmed" once a 50% non-refundable retainer is received. *Final payment for slices of cakes are due same day order is placed & before pick up. *Payment is due immediately for orders placed 7days or less *A holiday special is only considered “ confirmed” once full payment is received the day of order placed or 24hrs after approved order form. * Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 3-4 days prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date. * Rush Orders: Orders placed within 7 days or less of the event will be subject to a rush fee. Rush fee will be determined based off the design and details on the order needed . Cancellations & Refunds * Retainers: All retainers are non-refundable as they secure your date and allow for the purchase of specialized supplies. * Cancellations: If you cancel your order 3 days before the event, any balance paid beyond the retainer may be refunded/issued as credit. Cancellations made within 1-2days of the event are non-refundable. * Acts of God: In the unlikely event that I (the baker) am unable to fulfill your order due to illness or emergency, a full refund will be issued. Design & Artistry * Creative License: While I will use your inspiration photos as a guide, I do not create exact replicas. Each cake is a unique, handmade work of art. *CHANGES : Minor changes to design or flavor may be requested up to 5 days before the event. Major changes may result in a price increase. Dietary Restrictions & Allergens * Cottage Food Disclosure: These products are produced in a home kitchen that has been inspected & follows all cottage food laws . * Allergens: My kitchen handles common allergens including wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts, and soy. While I take precautions, I cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. The customer has all responsibility for notifying their guests of potential allergens. Pickup & Delivery * Transport: Once the order leaves my hands (either at pickup or after delivery setup), SimplySweetCrumbs is no longer responsible for any damage caused by improper handling, heat, or driving conditions. * Setup: For cakes requiring on-site setup, the customer must provide a sturdy, level table in a climate-controlled environment (70°F or cooler). Media & Photography * I reserve the right to take photos of your order and use them for marketing, social media, and my portfolio. If your event is a surprise, please let me know so I can delay posting. Agreement By paying your retainer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions listed above.
