The cake is a chiffon cake filled with rose-scented whipped cream. It is inspired by the flavours found in Persian, Turkish, and Indian confections. Cardamom seeds are used which when eaten are like little explosions of spice in the cake. This is a memorable cake. Roses, real edible gold flakes and pistachios are used to decorate the cake.🌹

It is an eight inch two layer cake that serves 8.

The taste of this cake is rich and buttery. It starts with a delightful rum flavour and finishes with a vanilla custard flavour. There is a little nuttiness and crunch from pecans which ring the top of the cake. The texture is soft and fluffy, and it’s the moistest, rummiest cake ever!
