Cake Pickup and Customer Responsibility Policy: 1. **Order Pickup**: - All cake orders are to be picked up at the specified date and time as agreed upon during the order placement. - The customer or their designated representative must be present to receive the order. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cake is collected in a timely manner. 2. **Quality Check Upon Pickup**: - It is the customer's responsibility to perform a thorough quality check of the cake at the time of pickup. This includes inspecting the cake for any visible damages or discrepancies, such as design, flavor, or size. 3. **Acceptance of Order**: - Once the customer or their representative accepts the cake and leaves the pickup location, the cake is considered received in good condition unless any visible defects are reported at the time of pickup. 4. **Responsibility After Pickup**: - The customer assumes full responsibility for the cake after it has been picked up and leaves our premises. Any damages, such as cracks, smudges, or melting due to environmental conditions, will not be the responsibility of the bakery. 5. **Handling and Transportation**: - Customers are advised to handle the cake with care during transportation. The bakery is not liable for any damage caused by improper handling, storage, or transportation of the cake after pickup. 6. **Storage Guidelines**: - Customers should follow the storage guidelines provided by the bakery, especially if the cake requires refrigeration or special care. Failure to do so may impact the cake's quality and is not the bakery's responsibility. 7. **Reporting Damages**: - In the event that any damages or discrepancies are discovered after the customer has left the pickup location, the customer should contact the bakery as soon as possible to report the issue. We will work with the customer to find a suitable resolution on a case-by-case basis. 8. **Refunds and Replacements**: - Refunds or replacements may be considered if the damages are due to a fault on the part of the bakery, such as a mistake in the cake's design or flavor. Refund or replacement eligibility will be determined at the bakery's discretion. By picking up your cake order, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this policy.
