Hi, I’m MaryEllen and I am the southern belle behind Southern Belle Bakery. Some of my favorite memories stem from standing beside my grandmothers in their kitchens learning how to make and bake goodies for our family or from waking up to the delicious aromas of the food that my mother and aunts were preparing for the holidays. I come from a large family in South Carolina, and we love food and tradition so much that we created a cookbook! Some of my menu items are straight from that book while others were collected through the years. I have even created a few recipes myself. When you purchase from Southern Belle Bakery, you are getting a taste of my southern heritage, and I share it proudly with you.

My bakery isn’t just about baked goods though. Southern Belle Bakery became a reality because my daughter dreamed of going to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip. I did not get up and running in time to help her, but I knew that I could still help others. Our kitchen is mission-driven, where every baked item helps support causes that are close to my heart.

One of my favorite parts of running this little bakery? Getting to know y’all! If you’ve ever picked up an order while I’m home, you know I make sure you feel right at home.

Pickup available Thursdays 4-8 pm & Fridays between 8am - 8pm.
